How text-message consent works

Enola texts only people who chose to get texts. That choice is separate from requesting an invitation, creating an account and agreeing to our Terms, and Enola records it with the time and the exact wording shown.

Program
Enola, a personal AI assistant by Grid Heap, Inc.
Numbers and sender
+1 (866) 693-6652 by SMS and WhatsApp, and the backup SMS line +1 (510) 443-6652; RCS sender “Enola”. Consent covers both lines.
Messages
Replies to requests, reminders the member sets, task updates, account notices. No marketing.
Frequency and rates
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opt-in
Unchecked box at eno.la/start, then the member texts START; or the member simply texts Enola. Separate from sign-up and the Terms. Enola never starts a conversation.
Opt-out
Reply STOP (or a local word such as ARRET), or turn texts off at eno.la/start.
Help
Reply HELP, or email hello@eno.la.

Request an invitation

On eno.la, a visitor enters an email address to request an invitation. The form collects no phone number and sends no texts. Its only agreement is to the Terms and Privacy Policy:

By requesting an invitation you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy. No phone number is collected here and no texts are sent. Texts are a separate, optional choice after you’re invited.

2

Create an account

An invited person opens the invitation email and creates an account on accounts.eno.la with their email address and mobile number. Sign-up is only possible from an invitation, and creating an account does not opt anyone in to texts.

3

Choose texts at eno.la/start

The member opens eno.la/start. The form is public; signing in happens only when they tap Text me, so the page can show the mobile number on their account. It shows that number and an unchecked box, with every disclosure on the same screen:

Yes, text me at this number. I agree to receive text messages (SMS and RCS) from Enola, by Grid Heap, Inc.: replies to my requests, reminders I set, task updates and account notices.

Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. Texts are optional: your Enola account works without them, and consent is not a condition of any purchase.

Links to the Messaging Terms, Terms of Use and Privacy Policy sit directly under it. No thanks leaves without opting in.

4

Check the box and tap Text me

Text me stays disabled until the member checks the box. Enola then records the opt-in with the time, the source (web), the number’s one-way digest, and the version and SHA-256 digest of the exact text above (version 2026-10-02.2). Nothing is sent yet.

Text START to finish

Enola never starts a conversation. The page asks the member to text START to +1 (866) 693-6652 from their number, with an Open Messages button that has START ready. A member who checked the box but never texts gets nothing.

The opt-in confirmation

The member’s START opens the conversation, and Enola’s reply is this exact text:

Welcome to Enola, an AI assistant from Grid Heap. You'll get replies to your requests, reminders you set, task updates and account notices. Replies are AI-generated and can be wrong. Enola stores this conversation to help you, and our messaging and AI providers process it to reply. Send DELETE MY DATA anytime to erase it. Support: hello@eno.la. Terms: https://eno.la/legal/terms Privacy: https://eno.la/legal/privacy
Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel.

Or opt in by texting Enola

An invited member can instead text START, or any first message, to +1 (866) 693-6652 or +1 (510) 443-6652 from the mobile number on their account. Enola replies from that line with the opt-in confirmation; if the number had opted out before, the carrier platform first confirms the resubscription. eno.la/channels shows the number with this notice:

Texting Enola from your invited number opts you in to its texts: replies to your requests, reminders you set, task updates and account notices. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to cancel. See Messaging Terms, Terms and Privacy Policy.

Enola records this as a keyword opt-in and replies with the same confirmation. Numbers without an invitation get one reply: “Enola is invite-only right now. Request an invitation at https://eno.la. Reply STOP to cancel.”
